The North Carolina Association of Realtors (NCAR) and South Carolina Association of Realtors (SCAR) have renewed service contracts with Realtor-owned zipLogix, giving their combined membership of 43,000 Realtors continued access to the company’s transaction software.
NCAR’s 30,000 members will continue to have access to contract forms software zipForm 6 and will gain access to document-storage tool zipVault, which provides secure storage and access to contract forms.
The renewed contract with SCAR extends its 13,000 members’ use of zipForm 6, zipVault, zipLogix’ e-signature tool Digital Ink and zipForm Mobile Web Edition, which facilitates the use of ZipLogix software on mobile devices.
Last week, ZipLogix announced renewed contracts with three other state associations: Texas Association of Realtors, Wisconsin Realtors Association and Maine Association of Realtors.
In October, zipLogix (and Instanet Solutions) added Fannie Mae offer documents to their form libraries, allowing real estate agents to access offer documents on HomePath properties alongside their local sales contracts through the agent’s multiple listing service or Realtor association.
In August, zipLogix signed up three Realtor associations in Pennsylvania and four in Wyoming, giving their members access to the company’s zipForm product. In the same month, e-signature service DocuSign became an e-signature option for all zipForm real estate forms.
In the past three months or so, three California MLSs — East Bay Regional MLS, Sandicor Inc. and Central Coast Regional MLS — have signed up for zipLogix’s zipFormMLS-Connect, a tool that allows members to import data directly from the MLS database into their zipForm transaction forms.
Founded in 1991, zipLogix is a joint venture between the National Association of Realtors and Real Estate Business Services Inc., a subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors. NAR holds a 30 percent stake in zipLogix valued at $7.3 million as of Sept. 30.
