Co-working spaces, peer-to-peer accommodation and co-housing are three examples of how the “ethos” of the sharing economy are affecting real estate, HAL Real Estate Investments’ Vice President Gabriel Grant says in a guest piece published by the Daily Journal of Commerce.
Grant offers insight that a group of real estate professionals and master’s degree students gleaned on a trip to Berlin, Krakow and Detroit to explore the implications of a sharing economy through the University of Washington’s Runstad Affiliate Fellows Program.
A documentary about the trip, “Place Capital: A Live Documentary Film About Cities,” will be screened Oct. 3 at HUB Seattle. Source: djc.com
