Real estate startup View the Space says it will use a $7 million round of venture funding led by Trinity Ventures to expand into new markets.
The company, which collects leasing data and creates virtual tours of office spaces, currently operates in 14 U.S. markets, and expects to expand to the top 20 national and international markets in the next two years, CEO Nick Romito told the Wall Street Journal.
Other backers in the latest funding round included Thomas Byrne, a former executive at LoopNet; Greg Waldorf, former chief executive of eHarmony who sits on Trulia’s board of directors; and Ben Ling, a veteran of Google, Facebook and YouTube. Source: commercialobserver.com
