Sotheby’s International Realty Inc. will have 140 sales associates on California’s Monterey Peninsula with the acquisition of Pacific Grove-based Bratty & Bluhm Real Estate, the companies said. Husband and wife team Bill and Helen Bluhm will join Sotheby’s International Realty as sales associates.
Founded in 1956, Bratty & Bluhm Real Estate employs 17 sales associates. The combined offices of both companies handled $567 million in sales in the last 12 months, the companies said.
Sotheby’s International Realty operates brokerage offices in metropolitan and resort markets including San Francisco, Sonoma, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Malibu, Pasadena, Santa Barbara and Carmel, Calif; Santa Fe, N.M.; Greenwich, Conn.; Manhattan and the Hamptons, N.Y.; Cape Cod, Mass.; and Palm Beach, Fla.
