Prudential Connecticut Realty has become the second HomeServices of America brokerage to rebrand under the flag of Warren Buffett’s new franchise brand, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
The Fairfield County-based brokerage is now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices-New England Properties. The company’s Rhode Island Realty division also transitioned to the new brand, and will operate as New England Properties, the Stamford Advocate reported.
“Prudential as a real estate brand is going away,” HomeServices of America CEO Ron Peltier said. “We wanted to be a franchise business and have a national network and one around the world.”
San Diego-based Prudential California Realty last week became the first of 26 Prudential-affiliated brokerages to follow through on commitments to transition to the new brand as early as the fourth quarter. Source: stamfordadvocate.com
