About Thad
Thad Wong is co-CEO of Christie’s International Real Estate. Along with his business partner, Mike Golden, Thad has successfully aligned a portfolio of companies that include brokerage, technology, mortgage, and title services to create one of the fastest growing and most innovative real estate brands in the industry.
Since his company’s 2021 acquisition of Christie’s International Real Estate, Thad has been working to grow the global luxury network while also reimaging the brand’s connection to the venerable Christie’s auction house, to create unique opportunities between the worlds of real estate, art and luxury goods.
Thad is also the driving force behind pl@tform, a proprietary brokerage technology offering agents a complete, single-dashboard solution to manage client relationships and real estate transactions.
Thad co-founded Chicago-based @properties in 2000 and grew it into one of the nation’s top 10 brokerage firms. Today, he oversees a network that includes more than 10,000 real estate agents in nearly 50 countries and territories, handling over $75 billion in transactions per year.
Thad has been honored as the Inman Innovator of the Year and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Midwest and is a 12-time honoree of Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500/5000.” He is active in several charities, including @gives back, his firm’s non-profit foundation. Thad is a native of Minneapolis and graduate of Loyola University of Chicago. He and his wife, Emily, also a successful REALTOR, have four children.
