About Shayan
Shayan is a seasoned tech entrepreneur who is committed to simplifying the real estate process for both agents and consumers. In his own words, he’s on a mission to create a paradigm shift in how real estate professionals interact with technology and Generative AI.
Prior to founding Rechat, Shayan operated TheRedPin, one of Canada’s largest online brokerage firms. He experienced firsthand the pain points of operating disparate systems to handle the various pieces of the real estate transaction – let alone the relationship management and marketing pieces of the business. It’s this experience that prompted him to leverage his internet solutions and SaaS experience to launch Rechat in 2015.
Throughout Shayan’s career, he’s guided companies from inception to high-growth phases. Prior to forming TheRedPin in 2009, he founded GoTakeOut.com, one of Canada's first online food ordering platforms. Based in Dallas, Shayan holds a triple major in computer science, economics and mathematics from the University of Toronto.
