Joe Rand is the Executive Director for the Broker Public Portal, the industry consortium partnered with Homesnap to bring a client-friendly and agent-friendly search experience to the industry. The BPP has successfully expanded Homesnap’s reach to over a million agents, giving millions of clients an advertising-free experience to collaborate and engage with their agent. Joe is also the Chief Creative Officer for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate | Rand Realty, one of the largest companies in the New York tristate region with 25 offices, 1,200 agents, and closing 6,000 transactions worth over $2.5 billion in real estate volume in 2019. The author of Disruptors, Discounters, and Doubters and How to be a Great Real Estate Agent, he has as spoken at numerous industry conferences, including Inman Connect, REALTOR Triple Play, and the RIS Media CEO Summit. In 2018, Rand was honored by RIS Media with one of the inaugural industry Newsmaker Awards, and recognized by Inman News as one of the Top 100 Real Estate Influencers, and in 2019 was recognized in the Real Estate Almanac from T360 Advisors in the Swanepoel Power 200 as one of the most powerful people in real estate.
