About Jemila
Jemila Winsey was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She is Co-Owner and CEO of ERA Legacy Living & TWG Commercial Partners with her husband, Patrick. In just four years of launching her brokerage, she has propelled her two-office Houston brokerage into the REAL Trends 500, Top 1.5% Brokerages in the U.S. In her previous affiliation with RE/MAX, she garnered all the Top Awards including Rookie Franchisee of the Year, Hall of Fame, Top 250 Team Leaders in Texas, Top 50 Commercial Brokers in the U.S and Chairman awards, just to name a few. Her track record of success also includes a corporate career as an Executive, where she enjoyed roles in implementing several Technology Initiatives at some of the largest companies in the world. She holds leadership positions in the real estate industry at the Local, State, and National Levels, including the Texas Realtors Board of Directors. She recently was elected to the 46,000 Member Mega MLS Board, The Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) Board of Directors as the only woman to serve in the Commercial Member Category. Jemila is a top producing team leader and a national real estate coach. Her team made the Houston Business Journal, Top 25 Realtors in Houston for 2021 and recently, Jemila was named by the Houston Business Journal as one of the Top Female Executives in Real Estate, an honor reserved for the Top Female Leaders of Industries in Houston. She was also ranked at the #1 Top Producing Black Realtor in Houston by the Houston Black Real Estate Association. Jemila’s success did not come without several setbacks, she credits her passion for real estate to when she found herself homeless at a point in her life with nowhere to turn. She vowed that if she because successful, she would use Real Estate as a platform to change as many lives as she was fortunate to touch. Jemila is a published author of the ABCs of BPOs, thought leader, and industry influencer. She and Patrick enjoy spending time cooking together and hanging with their two sons away from real estate.
