About Dr.
Dr. Orphe Divounguy joined Zillow in 2022. As a senior economist, Orphe adds his research experience to strengthen our ability to stay ahead of market developments and to shape the housing market media narrative. In the past, Orphe’s work focused on labor markets, housing markets, as well as quantitative methods for policy evaluation. Orphe earned a doctorate in economics from England’s University of Southampton where his research focused on investigating the importance of trading delays for market participant decisions and ultimately prices. Orphe is also a board member at Housing Connector, a nonprofit dedicated to lowering barriers to housing.
