Some announcements trickling out of ConnectSF – hot on the heals of its announcement that it’s sharing its data with Yahoo, Zillow has announced that even the little guy will soon be able to integrate their Zestimates into their web site.
From the Zillow Blog:
We believe that real estate is all about the long tail. We estimate there are more than a million individual agent and brokerage Web sites in the U.S., and although a handful of large national sites get the majority of the attention, it’s clear that buyers and sellers engage with real estate professionals on a local level. And it’s also clear that many individual agents may be looking to enhance their own sites with relevant and sticky content.
I’ll be curious to see how far they go with this this feature, and whether it’ll just be an extension of the Zillow Search Box or if they’ll permit developers /web site owners to create entirely new mashups based on their technology.
Realty Thoughts is also reporting that Zillow’s announced that you’ll soon be able to receive an SMS Zestimate on your mobile phone, by texting an home address to a specific email they’ve set up.
