Northern Colorado multiple listing service IRES has redesigned its public-facing property search site, ColoProperty.com.
The redesign includes an "Open Houses" tab that allows users to search for open houses by time period — "today" or "this weekend," for example — and see the results in list form, in a photo gallery view, or plotted on a map.

In addition, users may now also search by "green" features, including whether the home meets the requirements for EnergyStar, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), or Home Energy Rating System (HERS) ratings or certifications and whether a home has a high efficiency furnace or solar heating system, among other features.

Users can also search by accessibility features, including ramp access, an absence of stairs, wide doors, and proximity to a bus stop.

Other optional search filters on the site allow users to search by square footage, land size, home style, maximum homeowners’ association fee, subdivision, schools, and Walk Scores, among other features.
"Properties on ColoProperty.com now boast their very own link, allowing search engines and, therefore, the consumer to find them more easily. The entire site has a clean, fresh feel to it. The intuitive interface and the addition of the latest features on the new ColoProperty.com make it much simpler for the consumer to quickly find properties that match their needs," Julie Dahl, spokeswoman for IRES, said in a statement.
ColoProperty.com received 143,000 unique visitors and more than 25 million hits in the first quarter, IRES reported.
