Inman News today announced the finalists for its 11th annual Inman News Innovator Awards.
Winners will be announced in a July 25 ceremony during Inman’s annual Real Estate Connect SF technology conference, held July 23-25 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
Twenty-five companies are finalists for awards in five categories: brokerage or franchise; new technology; Web service; blog; and media site.
Finalists for the 2008 awards include low-cost, high-tech brokerage company Redfin and Realogy’s OpenHouse.com site, which lists open houses from a variety of brokerage companies.
The Inman Innovator Awards recognize companies that use technology and innovation to enhance the real estate transaction and experience for consumers and real estate professionals. In addition, an annual award honors one individual who embodies the spirit of real estate innovation. (See Inman’s 2007 Innovator Awards winners here.)
