Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, one of the largest real estate franchisors, has partnered with home services mobile app HomeKeepr to help its agents stay on the radar of past clients, Berkshire announced Thursday.

HomeKeepr lets agents select their preferred vendors, such as their favorite local electricians, hairdressers, home inspectors, handymen and landscapers. They can then gift the app to clients and share vendor recommendations, along with maintenance tips and contact information, with clients for perpetuity.

“HomeKeepr will empower our network agents to support their clients at every stage of homeownership and, by sharing trusted pros and useful information, those relationships stand the test of time,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices CEO Chris Stuart in a statement.

Whether what Berkshire called in a press release a “strategic alliance” with HomeKeepr makes the app available for free or at a discount wasn’t clear. Berkshire didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

HomeKeepr displays an agent’s headshot and contact information in an effort to stand out and secure referrals and future business from the client.

Approximately 150,000 Realtors use HomeKeepr, according to HomeKeepr. The app has generated “over 6 million recommendations” for 375,00 home services professionals, according to the company.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a franchisor whose affiliates boast 50,000 agents across 1,500 offices in the U.S., Europe and Dubai.

In 2015, Keller Williams Realty baked HomeKeepr into its mobile search app for consumers. Keller Williams didn’t immediately respond when asked if the integration is still in effect.
