CoreLogic, the real estate data and analytics firm, announced Wednesday it’s acquiring National Tax Search (NTS), a tax management firm that services both lenders and property management companies.
With the acquisition, CoreLogic obtains the company’s property tax portal, TaxQ, which will give it access to detailed tax information.
“The acquisition of NTS combines premier property data and real estate expertise from CoreLogic with NTS’ leading technology and excellence in customer service,” Nancy Langer, executive of CoreLogic’s real estate tax and payment solutions, said in a statement. “As a result, we are creating a unique foundation that will digitize the commercial tax market and bring an enhanced user experience to our customer base.”
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
For CoreLogic, a company that offers a variety of multiple listing service and real estate data products, the past 12 months on the acquisition front have been busy. Among its clientele are the largest multiple listings services in North America, serving more than a million members, which use CoreLogic to deliver technology services and property information.
In December 2018, the company acquired HomeVisit, a real estate marketing and photography company. In October 2018, it acquired Symbility Solutions, an insurance claims technology platform.
