Editor’s note: The video above contains explicit language, and the incident described below happens about 1:20 seconds into the video.
During a recent interview with Tracy Tutor of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, I asked Tutor one of the questions I ask all agents who appear on the show: “What’s your average sale price?”
Her response was unlike anything I’ve experienced in all my years as a podcast host. Honestly, I was blown away by her unprofessional behavior.
In today’s digitally driven world, it’s important to carry yourself with class, especially when acting in a professional capacity.
With information on the internet heavily influencing modern consumers’ decisions, something as seemingly insignificant as a single negative review can do major damage to your reputation.
Instead of trying to outline how real estate professionals should act, I figured it’d be more effective (and entertaining) to provide an example of how not to act as an agent.
At the end of the day, agents need to remember that everything they do and say has the potential to help or hurt their business and the brand that they represent.
Inman reached out to Tutor for comment but had not heard back at the time of publishing.
