Not long after dropping $25.9 million on a waterfront home in Miami, record producer and famous media personality DJ Khaled is looking to sell his old pad for $7.99 million.
The property, a 6,700-square-foot house in Miami’s Aventura neighborhood, is the epitome of swag: It has six bedrooms, four stories, chandeliers made with 14K gold and Swarovski crystals and a pool surrounded by palm trees and waterfront views.
Janet Ben Zvi of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent tasked with selling the property — the real estate firm often sells the luxury properties of various celebrities and executives.
As Ben Zvi told The Wall Street Journal, Khaled, whose real name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, bought the property for $3.59 million in 2015 and spent more than $2.5 million customizing the pad with his signature over-the-top style.
As a result, the house is equipped with velvet wall accents in Khaled’s signature purple color, an elevator, a mahogany office and a private palm tree grotto overlooking the Dumfoundling Bay water.
But perhaps the coolest feature of the home is the custom-made sneaker closet — the floor-to-ceiling shelving stored over 500 pairs of Khaled’s rare sneaker collection and has the DJ’s signature “We the best” slogan on the closer floor.

Khaled, who has produced music for stars like Kanye West and Snoop Dogg and has over 13 million Instagram followers, would often post photos of him entertaining at this home.
Over the past few years, Khaled has also become a mainstay of the gated community’s neighborhood. He would sometimes be spotted jet skiing on weekends and once documented an accident he had while riding the jet skis to rapper Diddy’s house on Instagram.
“Residents will miss him,” Ben Zvi told The Wall Street Journal.
