Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a network of the top producing indie brokerages across six continents, is launching a series of webinars hosted by real estate author and analyst Mike DelPrete, best known for his writing and data on the growth of instant home-buying services, known as iBuyers.
The new multi-platform educational initiative is aimed at helping its member-brokers align their value proposition during a period of disruption and change in the industry.
“Our firms have always embraced innovation, and that is what has contributed to their enduring success,” said Paul Boomsma, CEO and president of Leading RE. “While some startups fail, ours found their success and continue to capitalize on it.”
The webinars will focus on exploring new real estate models – like iBuyers and virtual brokerages – and how to use empirical data to better understand the impact these new models have on consumer behavior and agent productivity, according to a release. They will be held in regions around the world.
In addition to webinars, LeadingRE will be developing online courses to explore elements of the various models.
DelPrete, an occasional Inman contributor, is an entrepreneur, strategic advisor in the real estate technology sector and blogger at his “Adventures in Real Estate Tech” website.
“I’m really happy to be working with Paul, the LeadingRE team, and the fantastic membership base to help calibrate our understanding of the changes taking place in real estate,” DelPrete said. “I’m looking forward to discussing what’s happening, why it’s important, and what can be done to adapt to the changes.”
