Real estate agents are among the busiest professionals nowadays. Meetings, sales, open houses, marketings and many other activities can be very stressful without proper organization.
Fortunately, tasks can be made simpler with the help of the right technology tools. The best part is those tools and applications can be all be stored on their smartphone!
To help you stay organized and juggle your daily tasks, I’ve come up with a list of my top 15 apps for real estate agents.
Organization
Premier Agent
Premier Agent is a CRM platform that helps agents keep their tasks organized. It enables users to create reminders as well as keep their database organized. Users can also link their Zillow account into this app.
RPR
Realtor’s Property Resource is an app that is owned and operated by the National Association of Realtors. It allows the user to check the real estate market activity of each area and also search for properties that are on the market.
The app gathers all the data on the property and organizes it. Photos and notes can also be added to each property, which can be included in the agent’s reports but can also be kept private if preferred. In addition to that, reports can be customized with the user’s branding.
Microsoft OneNote
Microsoft OneNote can be used by real estate agents to jot down their notes and clip pictures from the internet. If there is already an existing Microsoft account, users can sync their notes across all Microsoft apps and devices.
Keeper
With all the apps and tools that aid real estate agents in their day-to-day, it can be hard to remember all the passwords for every app or site. Instead of keeping them in a document or writing them on paper, Keeper can securely keep those passwords in a vault file.
A fingerprint scanner from your phone can be used to log in to this app, making it even more secure. Keeper also helps its user create strong passwords in random characters and letters, or users can create passwords for themselves, and Keeper will gauge password strength.
Aside from passwords, Keeper can securely store private photos, videos and files.
DocuSign
DocuSign is a leading electronic signature platform with over 200 million users worldwide. Users of this app can sign documents and agreements anytime from any device quickly and securely.
Being able to sign documents anywhere and have your team or coworkers access them is a massive plus in real estate.
Additionally, DocuSign is a transaction management platform that allows agents to monitor all the documents from each transaction. DocuSign is secure, hassle-free and reduces costs.
Dropbox
Dropbox is an app that lets its users store files up to a certain amount of space depending on their plan. This app can be incredibly useful to real estate agents as they handle tons of paperwork and large photo files.
Dropbox allows agents to store all of these documents and photos and access them anytime and anywhere using their laptop, tablet or mobile device.
Productivity
RescueTime
Real estate agents have very busy schedules and need to make the most out of their precious time. RescueTime is a time management tool that lets its users track how their time is spent.
The app gives them a detailed report on their productivity and how much time is spent on a particular website or an application. Users can set goals for productivity and log in offline activities. RescueTime can block access to distracting sites when the user wants to focus on work.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Photos can be easily stored and edited using the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom app. It has easy-to-use filters and adjustment tools. Storage space is quite large, 1TB for starters.
Agents will find this app useful for editing photos of their listings for social media uses.
Matterport
Matterport is a virtual tour platform that gives clients a realistic and interactive 3-D and virtual reality experience.
This app is for agents who specialize in luxury properties or for those who have a strong market.
It allows them to explore the place without actually being there. The Matterport camera carries a hefty price tag, but it could be worth it for the right niche.
Social media
Facebook Ad Manager
Facebook Ads can bring a lot of business for real estate agents. Millions of people use Facebook. Facebook Ads help real estate agents create, manage and target ads to the right prospects for them. It also lets the user track how the ads are performing and set a budget for each ad.
Hootsuite
Dominating all social media platforms is a tedious job. This is where putting your social media campaigns on autopilot becomes a lifesaver.
Hootsuite can do this for you. This app will give you a dashboard where you can manage all your social media accounts across all platforms. The app has integration with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google-Plus and YouTube to name a few. Its directory has 250-plus apps to supercharge your campaigns all from one spot.
Communication
Slack
Slack is an app that allows each member of a real estate team to stay in touch with each other and be more productive as a team. Images and files can be upload and shared with the team.
You can also archive conversations on the app, which allows everyone to be updated always.
Slack also organizes the team’s conversations through channels, which makes this app a lot better than the regular group chat or instant message.
Financial
Expensify
Expensify is an app that enables real estate agents to create expense reports fast and simple. It can scan receipts by taking a snapshot through the user’s mobile phone and reports the expense.
This app allows the user to import any expenses into the company or their own personal credit card. Expense reports can also be reimbursed through this app with just one click via PayPal or ACH Direct Deposit.
Time savers
Waze
Real estate agents have to manage their time wisely, and being stuck in traffic means precious time lost. Waze allows drivers to be alerted to heavy traffic, accidents on the road and road hazards, getting them to their destination at the earliest time possible.
It also allows users to navigate to the nearest and cheapest gas station along their route. Real estate agents would surely find this app useful in saving time and gas money.
KeyMe
KeyMe is a key copying software that saves time for real estate agents running around borrowing keys from homeowners. With the app, users can snap a photo of the key they need a copy of and have a duplicate made at the nearest KeyMe kiosk.
Photos of the key can be stored for future use in case the same keys are lost or need to be copied again.
