The California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) WomanUP! initiative has put forth the following objectives to empower women to take control of their careers:
- Provide professional development
- Offer mentorship opportunities
- Create a community of support
“We know that women are the vast majority of our industry but are highly underrepresented when you look at leadership at the top,” said Sarah Sutachan, vice president of industry relations and strategic initiatives for C.A.R., speaking alongside 2018 NAR President Elizabeth Mendenhall and Gretchen Pearson, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties, at Inman Connect New York.
