September 26
Cheri Bungard has been named the senior vice president at Weichert New Homes. “We are extremely proud to welcome Cheri to the Weichert New Homes executive team,” said Denise Smith, president of affiliated services for the Weichert Family of Companies, in a statement. “Her track record in sales management, real estate and marketing within the industry, combined with her extensive knowledge of leadership and operations, positions Cheri well for immediate success in growing our business.”
Russ Cofano was promoted to president and general counsel at eXp World Holdings, where his former title was chief strategy officer and general counsel. “Speaking on behalf of myself, the Board of Directors and the rest of the Executive Team we are very excited about yet another great beginning to a new chapter in the growth of the eXp World Holdings family of companies,” stated Glenn Sanford, CEO and Chairman of eXp World Holdings, in a statement. “Russ Cofano with his deep understanding of organized real estate is such a welcome addition to all of us.”

Resitrader in Calabasas, California, a loan mortgage trade management software provider, named Doug Mayer as its new national sales executive. “Doug’s long and successful career in sales, loan acquisition platform development and whole loan trading makes him a perfect fit for his new role at Resitrader,” said John Ardy, Resitrader’s CEO, in a statement.
Theresa Nielson is the new managing broker at the Long & Foster Real Estate Georgetown office in Washington, D.C. “I’m excited about this new opportunity and look forward to continuing to help my fellow agents provide best-in-class service to their clients, whether they’re buying a new condo downtown or selling their historic home,” Nielson said in a statement. “I know from experience the value of the Long & Foster brand and its many technology and marketing offerings, and I’m confident that with my support and everything that Long & Foster has to offer, our Georgetown office and agents will continue to achieve great success in real estate.”
There’s a new director of marketing at the Swanepoel T3 Group: Aman Daro. “Aman is an important addition to our strategy to grow our best-in-class suite of real estate industry consulting, research and development services,” said chairman and CEO Stefan Swanepoel in a statement.

Juwai.com, the international property portal that delivers listings in Chinese, has hired a new chief financial officer, Martin Tsang, as well as a new head of China engagement, Tracy Wu, and a head of Australia and New Zealand residential, Nigel Wilson. “We are very lucky to have such a steady, experienced hand in the CFO role,” said Juwai.com CEO Charles Pittar in a statement. “Having the right team in place now will enable us to lay the proper foundations for future growth. I expect these hires, along with the other members of our team today, to have an exponential impact on our future success.”

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices announced that Mitchell Lewis is the company’s new managing director for key markets throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “Mitch Lewis is exactly the right professional to help us expand Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices,” said Peter Turtzo, SVP of international operations, in a statement. “His extensive experience and professional acumen are true assets; he will indeed help us take our network global, far beyond its current presence in the United States.”
Lauren Hansen, CEO of IRES, is the new president of the Council of Multiple Listing Services. “I am honored to be the President of CMLS,” said Hansen in a statement. “I look forward to bolstering education and increasing awareness, while encouraging our leaders to incorporate cutting edge management practices.”
