Amy Schumer cuts price on Upper West Side penthouse

Funny lady Amy Schumer quietly listed her Upper West Side penthouse nearly a year ago in last November for $2.075 million, but she’s probably not laughing at all of the price cuts it’s taking to sell.

Just a quick walk from the Museum of Natural History and Central Park, the top-floor unit recently got a six-figure price cut under new representation — it’s now listed for $1.625 million by the Modlin Group.

The penthouse is a one-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom pad in a brownstone building with quintessential New York charm, holding views of the city and plenty of opportunity to explore one of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods.

Built in 1900, the home’s charm starts with a walk-up, which to get to the penthouse is five stories. Schumer’s home is on the top-level, spanning the entire floor with a private roof deck. The spacious and airy one-bedroom features towering ceilings, two wood burning fireplaces, new appliances and built-in shelving units.

One of those fireplaces is in the large, over-sized bedroom, which has plenty of space to cozy up and relax.

The kitchen, though small, is equipped with top-notch appliances and tools, including Wolf, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances.

The rooftop garden is like a mini oasis in the middle of the city. With stunning views and lush greenery, the garden is the perfect entertaining spot.
