This time last year, the Chicago Blackhawks were less than a month off their third Stanley Cup win in five years, and the players were still making their rounds with the trophy.
This year, the team’s two most popular players are getting into some real estate action.
In the same week that Jonathan Toews closed on his Lincoln Park mansion for $3.825 million, Patrick Kane listed his two-bedroom Trump Tower condo for sale. But have no fear, Hawks fans, you’re not losing your beloved captain to the suburbs. According to the Chicago Tribune, Toews is staying in Chicago.
Not even living in the home for two years, Toews purchased the 6,400 square foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom home for $3.525 million.
Toews listed the home with Jennifer Ames Group.
After living in his Trump Tower condo since September 2008, when he purchased it for $2.06 million, Kane has decided to find another place to call home. The two-bedroom condo features sweeping views of the skyline, Chicago River and Lake Michigan. The condo is listed for $2.15 million.
Sitting on the 33rd floor, the condo is 2,000 square feet and features an ultra-modern kitchen and open living space.
