Martha Martinez

Long & Foster appointed Martha Martinez as its new branch manager of the Silver Spring/Colesville office in Silver Spring, Maryland. “I look forward to this new opportunity and to leading the team of real estate professionals at our Silver Spring/Colesville office,” said Martinez in a statement. “Long & Foster is known for attracting high-caliber sales associates and clientele by providing the best and latest tools, technology and training, and I’m confident that with the strength of the Long & Foster brand, as well as my real estate expertise, our agents will continue to build their careers in real estate in Montgomery County and the greater D.C. area.”

Kenneth Fagan

Long & Foster also named Kenneth Fagan the manager of both its Ft. Washington and Mitchellville, Maryland, offices. “It’s been great leading the wonderful team at the Mitchellville office and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with more of the Long & Foster family in my new role at the Ft. Washington office,” Fagan said in a statement. “Long & Foster attracts high-caliber sales associates and is an industry leader because of its focus on providing the best and latest tools, technology and training available.”

Kathy Pisani

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has expanded the responsibilities of Syosset/Muttontown sales manager Kathy Pisani to include sales management of the organization’s East Norwich/Brookville office. “For over more than 20 years, our organization has benefitted from Kathy Pisani’s sales management expertise,” said Daniel Gale Sotheby’s president and CEO Patricia Petersen in a statement. “In her new role, Kathy will work with two of our highest-achieving assistant sales managers.”

Chandini Portteus

ZOCCAM, a Dallas-based technology startup that allows agents to deliver contracts to settlement service providers, announced that Chandini Portteus has joined the board of directors. “I am excited to join the ZOCCAM board at a time of great growth and expansion,” Portteus said in a statement. “I look forward to furthering the vision of ZOCCAM in its current market, along with introductions and adoption in new verticals.”

Larry Braithwaite

ASB Real Estate Investments in Dallas announced that Lawrence Braithwaite was promoted to senior vice president and portfolio manager of the ASB Allegiance Fund, the company’s flagship $6.2 billion, open-end core vehicle for institutional investors, and that David Bohman was promoted from senior investment associate to vice president, responsible for valuing, underwriting, and due diligence of potential real estate acquisitions for the Allegiance Fund and ASB’s Meridian Funds, the company’s closed-end value-creation fund series for institutional investors. “These promotions recognize the highly collaborative and dedicated team-oriented contributions of Larry and David in producing results for our clients,” said Robert Bellinger, ASB’s president and CEO, in a statement. “Larry has been instrumental in the growth and success of the Allegiance Fund, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him to meet our performance objectives.”

Jennifer Lee

Jennifer Lee is the new director of development at the Brookyln outpost of Bold New York, a boutique full-service real estate consulting and brokerage firm. “Jennifer is the ideal choice to help drive the continued expansion of our business into new markets,” said Jordan Sachs, president and co-founder, in a statement. “Her proven track record and management style is highly compatible with our collaborative, forward-thinking culture, and we look forward to the significant contributions she will make to grow our organization.”

Maya Kriet

Halstead Property, a residential real estate brokerage firm in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, announced that Maya Kriet joined the firm as its new director of communications. “We are thrilled to welcome Maya to the Halstead team,” said CEO Diane Ramirez in a statement. “She has a strong and impressive blend of agency and in-house communications experience, as well as a passion for real estate, and we are confident that she will thrive in her new role and be a valuable asset to our firm.”

Michael Stegman

The Bipartisan Policy Center announced that Dr. Michael Stegman is joining the organization as a fellow for housing policy. “We are excited to have Mike join the BPC as a fellow,” said BPC President Jason Grumet in a statement. “BPC’s Housing Commission was instrumental in moving the housing finance reform debate forward as well as shining a light on the need for affordable housing.”

Gina Verdi

Gina Verdi has been hired as the new director of human resources at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors and The Trident Group. Gina Verdi, SHRM-SCP, has been hired as the new director of human resources. “We are so pleased to welcome Gina as the new human resources director,” Larry Flick, chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “Her years of experience in employee relations and management will provide an invaluable resource to our company.”
