Construction has begun on yet another residential tower in Chicago.
A 26-story, 102-unit luxury apartment development in Gold Coast commenced construction, according to a June 16 release from CA Residential LLC. The building is located at the northeast corner of State and Huron streets.
“It’s exciting to see this project progressing so quickly,” CEO of CA Ventures Tom Scott said in a statement. “The building will undoubtedly maximize the potential of this highly visible site, and, due to its size, exude an air of intimacy and exclusivity for residents while delivering all of the luxury amenities for which CA communities are known.”
The building’s units will come with nearly all of the bells and whistles, with high-end finishes like quartz countertops, custom Snaidero cebinetry, Kohler plumbing and more.
The apartments range in size from studios to 3.5-bedroom ultra luxury apartments on the 22nd and 23rd floors.
The units will also be equipped with KitchenAid or Gaggenau stainless steel appliances and in-unit washer and dryers.
The building is slated to be one of the neighborhood’s finest. Aiming for an all-in-one type of lifestyle, the building holds no stops: Residents will have access to 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor community spaces on the 24th floor. A resort-style outdoor deck features an infinity-edge stainless steel pool and a sprawling sun deck surrounded by grills. The building will also have an on-site pet spa and dog run for its four-legged residents.
Residents don’t even need to leave to get a work out. The building has both a yoga room and fitness center.
“The entire building — from the residences to the common areas — is designed to give residents a five-star, resort-style experience without stepping foot off the property,” Scott said.
