Charles Pittar was named the new CEO at Juwai.com, a Chinese international real estate website. “On behalf of the entire Board, I congratulate Charles on this appointment,” said Rupert Purser, Chairman of the Board, in a statement. “He has more than earned it with his work as COO last year.”
January 25
Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Nancy Bashian Bunin is the new director of business development. “Nancy is a seasoned professional experienced in direct sales and sales management,” said Richard Ellis, owner of Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty, in a statement. “She will tap into her vast experience — notably her eight years with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand — and understanding of an agent’s needs to recruit, retain and train top sales associates.”
January 26
Altisource Portfolio Solutions, which provides mortgage, financial and technology services, announced that Eric M. Lapin, Kevin J. Cooke and Devin P. Daly have joined the company to support the expansion of Altisource’s mortgage and real estate services initiatives. “Eric Lapin’s research and business development expertise within the mortgage lending sector will help ensure a strategic approach to maintaining and building our customer base,” said John Vella, chief revenue officer at Altisource, in a statement. “Kevin Cooke’s knowledge and experience throughout the mortgage lifecycle position him to establish and expand relationships with new and existing customers. Devin Daly will lead the Mortgage Builder Sales and Professional Services and Go-to-Market team, drawing heavily from his many years in mortgage technology sales.”
National nonprofit Rebuilding Together announced that Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate CEO Sherry Chris is the new chair of the company’s board of directors. “Rebuilding Together helps preserve the American dream of homeownership for low-income homeowners in need of a safe and healthy home, and in the process ensures that communities and neighborhoods remain vibrant,” Chris said in a statement. “Over the coming years, Rebuilding Together will be focusing on expanding services, voice and reach to meet dramatically growing needs nationwide.”
Pete Butler is the new national executive at Embrace Home Loans. “The feedback from the banks and credit unions we support has been remarkable,” said Kurt Noyce, president of Embrace Home Loans, in a statement. “Pete’s extensive experience and industry contacts will be invaluable as we showcase these successes and present Embrace as the ideal solution to the banking world.”

Judy Shields is the new 2016 president of the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors. “I am an active Realtor running my business just like our members and will use that energy to carry out the goals and objectives of the association,” Shields said in a statement. “To accomplish this, I’m introducing three Cs: collaboration, communication and creativity.”
Realogy announced that Duncan Niederauer was appointed to the company’s board of directors.”We are honored to have a leader of Duncan Niederauer’s caliber join the Realogy Board of Directors,” said Richard A. Smith, Realogy’s chairman, chief executive officer and president, in a statement. “In addition to his exceptional leadership experience as CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, Duncan brings a wealth of knowledge about the equity markets, technology, mergers and acquisitions and public company governance.”

Denise Neely is the new southwest region vice president at Valuation Partners, a national appraisal management company. “Denise is an exceptional talent and is one of very few professionals capable of serving such a large and diverse client base,” said Bill Fall, CEO of Valuation Partners, in a statement. “Given her track record of results, Denise is the perfect choice to accelerate our business growth in the southwest and help greater numbers of lenders access the valuation products and services they need to excel.”

John Parrish is the new regional account executive for the correspondent lending division at LenderLive, a mortgage services provider. “John is a proven business leader with deep experience in the mortgage industry,” said David Vida, president of Mortgage Services at LenderLive, in a statement. “His addition to the team enhances our strong capabilities and commitment to provide our clients with unique solutions to fit all their needs.”
February 4
Housing Partnership Network, a business collaborative of affordable housing and community development nonprofit organizations, announced that Chuck Wehrwein is its new president of member engagement and business collaboration. “Chuck is strongly committed to our mission and strategy of peer learning and social enterprise and we’re excited to welcome him back to HPN,” said Thomas Bledsoe, president and chief executive officer of HPN, in a statement. “He’s a highly respected and talented leader and his deep knowledge of our members, collaborative business model and industry, along with extensive management experience, will be an enormous benefit at this critical period of our growth.”

Placester, a real estate marketing software suite, has hired Chad Kelly as its vice president of finance. “Placester has grown rapidly by delivering a platform that makes online connections to customers simple and actionable,” said Matt Barba, CEO of Placester, in a statement. “As VP of Finance, Chad Kelly represents an important addition to our team, and will be a critical force behind helping us grow faster and work smarter.”
