- Those lists are great, but they miss quite a few people who are doing amazing things but aren't all over the Internet talking about it.
- For everyone who isn't on one of those lists, thank you for everything you do to improve our industry.
People love a “Top 10” whatever list, especially the top industry lists. I’ve been honored to be featured on industry insiders lists such as “The Inman Top 101” and the “Swanepoel Power 200” 2015/2016 list.
However, those compilations miss out on a lot of great people in the industry simply because some aren’t willing to put themselves out there via video on the Internet. And for good reason — there’s a lot of nastiness that comes along with it.
For everyone who’s not on the list, thank you. I talk to a lot of y’all who are behind the scenes doing amazing things to make this a better industry.
Kudos to everyone who works on these lists, I don’t know how you pick from all the amazing people in our industry.
Maybe one day, I’ll write a jacklegs of real estate list — because I know y’all would click on that one.
