U.S. News and World Report, a magazine publisher also well-known for rankings in several industries, recently came out with another set of rankings: this one for best in the real estate field.
On the list of Best Real Estate Agents in Miami, three agents are with Re/Max Advance Realty (RMA). The second spot on the list went to the company’s broker/owner Anthony Askowitz. RMA is the only Miami office with three agents on the list.
U.S. News has partnered with Agent Ace since 2014 to provide the rankings.
Agent Ace uses its patented technology to analyze past-home sales data to connect consumers to the most experienced agent in the neighborhood in which they seek to purchase.
The Miami listing ranks the top 20 Miami agents who, over the past year, have helped their clients with the most residential sales and purchases of condominiums, townhomes, and single family residences.

Agent Ace had to crunch a lot of numbers to produce the Miami rankings. According to U.S. News’ information for that metro, about 10,459 real estate agents helped consumers with 13,083 residential home sales in the past 12 months. Those homes sold anywhere from $10,000 to $14,000,000.
The partnership emerged to help buyers cut through the clutter of countless real estate agent sites and ranking services. While it might be tempting to think that there is an overall best real estate agent in Miami, the best agent is the one that does the best job for each individual buyer.

Here’s how the free service works: the performance of active residential agents in specific areas is analyzed in order to match buyers with agents. Potential buyers provide Agent Ace with the type of home, neighborhood and a price range, and a list of up to three agents who have proven track records in buying or selling that exact type of home is produced. The consumer is under no obligation to use any of those agents.
Askowitz, who has led the office since 2003, said that the success of his team comes from old-fashioned hard work. “All three of us work hard for our clients– Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons, whatever it takes,” he said. “We also work smart, and put together great sales teams. We also pride ourselves on doing the little things that really make a difference for our clients.”

In addition to serving as RMA’s broker/owner, is a working agent who typically sells more than 100 homes a year.
Re/Max Advance Realty has more than 150 real estate agents in its Kendall and South Miami offices, and was selected Re/Max’s Florida Office of the Year in 2011.
