Three of top workplaces in Orange County are residential real estate brokerages.
According to an Orange County Register survey of employees at 125 participating companies, Seven Gables Real Estate is the best “midsize” company to work for. Companies considered midsize are those with an employee base of 100 to 499.
Villa Real Estate ranked as the fourth best workplace in the midsize category, with Surterre Properties coming in at eight.
First Team Real Estate ranked 23rd and was the only residential firm also named in the Register’s Best of OC, which is based on a survey of 100,000 readers. First Team is considered to be Southern California’s largest private real estate agency.
Three of the firm’s teams are among the top producers in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim MSA when it comes to yearly transactions closed.
According to a separate ranking from Real Trends, the firm’s Lily Campbell Team was the 12th most productive squad in the MSA during 2014, with 118 transactions closed. The firm’s Yoomi & David and Jody Clegg teams ranked as the 17th and 19th most productive.
Several homebuilders also made the Register’s top workplace list, New Home Co. (7th) and Warmington (21st).
