Located just about 30 minutes from the center of Houston, Pearland has been one of the fastest growing cities in the country in the past 15 years. Pearland has a large portion of its residents children and teens and a higher income ratio than the region and nation.
In the past 12 months, the city’s real estate market has been faring pretty well also. According to Altos Research, the current median home value as of December 4 is $289,935. Home prices have been on the rise for the past few months, and that’s due mostly to the large interest from buyers.
