Realtors who use and like sales/marketing platform BoomTown will soon discover even more to love: A simple click on a lead’s address in the platform will open up real-time access to demographics, tax assessment, public records, foreclosure data and MLS-provided information for agents to leverage. Agents will also be able to instantly generate comparative market analyses (CMAs) and other real-time reports for clients.
That’s courtesy of a new partnership with Realtors Property Resource (RPR), the exclusive online real estate database of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
RPR draws data from more than 600 MLSs with other public record information on more than 160 million properties.
BoomTown is an enterprise marketing platform with CRM and brokerage administration functionality for real estate companies and teams.
Providing timely, pertinent information is critical to establishing an agent as the trustworthy expert in the area, said BoomTown CEO Grier Allen.
“Consumers are changing and are dictating the change, and the industry really needs to respond to that,” said Allen.
“We found that RPR had an exclusive suite of information that, if integrated with BoomTown, could save agents a lot of time,” he said.
With this integration, for instance, there are tools that will allow agents to generate a 70-page seller report for a client in a couple of clicks, said Allen.
“That’s where we find this to be extraordinarily valuable,” he said.
“Not only will this eliminate needless toggling between multiple sites for information and boost productivity, but this integration will empower agents to continually position themselves as knowledgeable, trustworthy experts, responding immediately to inquiries, showcasing their knowledge of the area and backing it up with data,” said Allen.
The partnership with RPR is mutually beneficial, he said.
RPR chief of operations Jeff Young said, “We want to ensure RPR users can take full advantage of our comprehensive data, analytics and reports, so we are excited to partner with BoomTown to allow our mutual Realtor clients to seamlessly harness the power of RPR’s database directly from the BoomTown platform.”
“We’d like to see deeper integration points in the future,” added Allen.
He did not rule out partnering with other data providers.
“Really, we are an agent- and client-centered business. Any other vendors or associations that provide innovative services, we would partner with them,” he said.
