Miami and San Diego will host hundreds of foreign and domestic real estate professionals next month at the Bi-Coastal International Real Estate Congress, a networking and education event focused on global real estate issues and opportunities.
The Miami Association of Realtors, dubbed MIAMI, has hosted the event for 20 years. This is the first year that the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) has partnered with MIAMI to bring the event to the West Coast.
Both cities have Realtors with high numbers of international clients and were the top two states for international real estate transactions in 2014, according to the National Association of Realtors’ 2014 Profile of International Home Buying Activity.
Professionals can attend two-day meetings in each city or both. MIAMI will host the East Coast event Nov. 8 through 9 at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.
SDAR will then host a West Coast event Nov. 10 through 11 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. Both locations will feature nightly receptions at luxury real estate properties.
The Congress offers networking opportunities with U.S. real estate developers; access to community and political leaders; more than 30 expert speakers presenting topics and tools for business growth, including local market information on transportation, infrastructure, political environment and taxes; access to the associations’ databases of global real estate news and statistics; a quarterly newsletter highlighting local market opportunities; and a complimentary California Foreign Investment Guide.
