September 21

Cara Whitley

Century 21 Real Estate named Cara Whitley as its new global chief marketing officer. “While we remain laser-focused on growth of our organization, it is critical that we increase awareness and preference of our award-winning brand in order to capitalize on the rapidly evolving marketplace and global economy,” said President and CEO Rick Davidson in a statement. “Cara’s demonstrated experience in delivering innovative marketing solutions and leading high-performing teams will complement our efforts well.”

Bill Wagner

Bill Wagner has been named the chairman of the Grand Junction Area Realtors Association.

Michael W. Walsh

iRent, a real estate marketplace for home and apartment rentals, has apponted Michael W. Walsh to its advisory board. “Mike has joined us at a critical time,” said iRent Founder and CEO, Matthew B. Foster, in a statement. “His influence will be important in helping us to select the right financial partners and in helping us scale our platform nationally.”

Abbie Higashi

McGuire Real Estate has announced that Abbie Higashi is the company’s new General Counsel and General Manager. “Abbie’s professional background and real estate career is as impressive as it is extensive,” said Alex Buehlmann, Chief Operating Officer of McGuire Real Estate, in a statement. “The knowledge and expertise that she brings to our company can be applied to every facet of our industry.”

Dontae Carroll

Dontae Carroll is the new senior vice president of operations for Long & Foster Real Estate’s Southern Maryland, Montgomery County, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia/West Virginia regions. “Supporting our offices and real estate professionals takes knowledgeable and motivated leaders, and I am positive that with Dontae’s leadership, our market position will continue to flourish,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, in a statement. “Since he has been with the company, Dontae has made a significant impact in our Southern Maryland and Prince George’s County region and his commitment to supporting Long & Foster and its sales associates, and his forward-thinking approach to business, will ensure our future success.”

Cartus Corporation announced that Kirk Parrish has joined as director of business development for the company’s U.S. Southern Region. “Kirk is an experienced sales executive with a proven track record of success, and we look forward to his contributions to our national accounts in the Southern region,” said Kathi Feczko, Cartus senior vice president, Global Business Development.

Stacey Cousineau

Long & Foster Real Estate named Stacey Cousineau as its new office manager for the company’s Waldorf and Lexington Park offices. “I am very excited to continue working with the Lexington Park office and to work with the Waldorf office where I began my real estate career,” Cousineau said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to continuing to build the business, support our agents and further the company brand at the Lexington Park and Waldorf offices.”
