Jim Berns

Jim Berns joined Windermere Homes & Estates as broker of record. “Jim is a perfect complement to our team. He has the same commitment to agent success we embody here at WHE, and he brings an incredible wealth of real estate knowledge to our agents,” said co-owner Rich Johnson in a statement.

July 13

James Whelan

The Real Estate Board of New York promoted James (Jim) Whelan to executive vice president. “Jim is well-respected among his peers, public policymakers and public officials in the city and state,” said REBNY President John Banks in a statement. “I applaud him for his tireless dedication and efforts to address the vital city and state issues that impact our real estate community.”

Susan Yannaccone

Susan Yannaccone was named chief operating officer at ERA Real Estate. “Sue will leverage her extensive career in real estate to help advance the ERA brand along our current path and strategic direction with a focus on franchisee engagement, satisfaction and growth,” said Charlie Young, president and CEO of ERA Real Estate, in a statement. 

July 14

Sharif Mahdavian

LenderLive Network Inc., an end-to-end mortgage services provider, announced that Sharif Mahdavian joined the firm as vice president of business development for the company’s Due Diligence division. “As a consumer of due diligence information, Sharif has deep insight into how these results can drive credit decisions and how to communicate the value of a best-in-class service offering to the decision makers responsible for selecting one TPR over another,” said Mark Hughes, president of the due diligence division, in a statement.

Rhonda DeLuca

Rhonda DeLuca was named vice president and underwriting manager for BOK Financial Mortgage’s correspondent lending channel. “In this role, DeLuca is tasked with growing the correspondent channel’s nondelegated lender platform, managing the mortgage credit risk for correspondent lending, and managing all underwriting personnel, functions and resources,” noted the company in a statement.

July 15

Chip Perry

RentPath, which owns Apartment Guide, Rent.com, Rentals.com and Lovely, has appointed Chip Perry as its president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Perry joined the RentPath board in February 2015 and will continue in his role as a director; he is also the former CEO of AutoTrader.com.

Scott Houp

Scott Houp was named senior vice president and third-party origination eastern division manager. “At Stonegate Mortgage, it is clear that both customer and employee satisfaction are of top priority,” Houp said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to playing a part in both internal and external development at a time when the company is creating and implementing new technologies like TPO Connect that significantly improve the ability of third parties to originate and fund mortgages.”

July 16

Patrick Arkeveld

Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies, a real estate software company, appointed Patrick Arkeveld as president, effective July 13, 2015. “I’m excited to welcome Patrick to the Lone Wolf family,” said Lorne C. Wallace, CEO of Lone Wolf, in a statement. “We’ve experienced a significant amount of growth over the past several years and we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum with the guidance and support of our new president.”

Lance F. Drummond has been elected to the Freddie Mac board of directors. “We are very pleased that Lance is joining the Freddie Mac board of directors,” said Christopher S. Lynch, Freddie Mac’s nonexecutive chairman, in a statement. “He is a proven and experienced executive who has held leadership positions in several prominent financial institutions.”

Cindy Warren

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty announced that Cindy Warren is the new assistant manager for the Lakewood Ranch branch sales office in Florida. “I am excited and honored for the opportunity to join the leadership team of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty,” Warren said in a statement. “I look forward to this new role and to assisting Mike in the continued growth of the Lakewood Ranch and the Sarasota-area sales professionals!”
