The pitch
Vieweet is specialty photography software for Android and iOS devices. It comes with a fish-eye lens kit to make virtual tours and unique property images.

Top selling points:
- Simple 360-degree photos: A built-in gyroscope (iPhone only, currently) on the interface helps level your shot. When ideally positioned, a 3-second countdown is triggered and the shot is taken for you. Repeat four times to complete the shot.
- Capture big spaces: Take a still shot with the magnetic lens to seize images of large rooms and spaces.
- Easy share: Email, text, share or embed tours moments after they’re ready. A fast add-on to any listing page.
Things to consider:
- Getting started took the directions, something I don’t love. Initial setup was confusing and the website’s not very organized. However, using the software is easy. Once up and running, Vieweet is very intuitive.
The close
My first sample shot was terrible; the stitching was blurred and it had visible seams.
Once I used the animated leveling viewfinder and allowed the software to capture each of the four shots instead of my unsteady mitts, my second attempt at a 360-degree, full-range image of my cul-de-sac came out really nice.
Using Vieweet, an agent can walk from room to room in a listing, take four shots per room and leave with very compelling image content in just a few minutes.
When an image is ready, the software uploads it to stitch together the panoramic, processes it and finalizes it for use. I found that took barely a minute each time.
Final links to Vieweet panoramics are easy to disseminate to contacts and social accounts, and the Vieweet dashboard lets you manage your work via phone or desktop.
I wasn’t provided with an optional Vieweet monopod, which allows for a cleaner final image, but my samples are plenty professional — even if an odd, conjoined take on my hand is visible when you manipulate the photo downward. I think clients would tolerate it.
The light, durable lens is adhered magnetically to a ring housing in the provided phone case. Adapters for the iPad and various Android phones are included.
Vieweet’s lense and accessories are the result of sound engineering. Everything feels solid and works as it should.
An empty sleeve on the included case accepts a metal rod to marry your phone with the monopod or a third-party tripod.
Software-wise, Vieweet looks good, but I found it buggy and a bit disorganized. The browser (desktop) user account interface is stable and easy, but the iPhone version struggled with simplicity.
There’s a Vieweet Scan product that somehow enables agents to create dynamic, hidden content that can be revealed to client users of Vieweet.
I’m assuming my activation code didn’t include access to this tool, because enabling it on the app just led to confusion, even with Vieweet’s website guiding me. I’ll withhold judgment of this feature because it wasn’t my focus, and I’m not sure I had everything needed to run it.
You can also create video tours from your 360-degree shots with direct upload to YouTube, and add voice-overs or music. I was most concerned with Vieweet’s photography capability and quality, however, and didn’t delve into these features.
Most importantly, I found Vieweet’s most prominent features the easiest to use; that is, capturing cool property content and being able to share it.
If you’re looking for an easy, smart way to create high-quality, 360-degree shots of your listings, Vieweet is a very solid option. Have fun with it.
