Easy Analytic Software, a provider of location data and analysis, has introduced the latest app that can help agents get their clients answers to thorny questions without potentially exposing themselves to legal risk.
Agents can use The Right Move on their smartphones to call up demographic data for an area as small as all the households within a a 0.1-mile radius of their location.
Free reports show statistics including household income, median age, racial composition and homeowner-to-renter composition.
Paid reports, which are more up-to-date than free reports, offer 16 additional variables, including indices on married families with children, singles, older population, education, home values and crime.
Paid reports are available to one-week ($0.99) and one-year subscribers ($4.99).
By tapping “click to use my location” or entering an address or ZIP code, users can “learn instantly whether a particular location is right for your home or your business venture,” said Bob Katz, president and founder of Easy Analytic Software.
Easy Analytic Software represents an alternative to Sitegeist, a free app whose interface is more intuitive and visually engaging than The Right Move’s but doesn’t offer as many hard statistics.
Some of the most popular websites for accessing local data include NeighborhoodScout, FindTheHome, Niche Local and Trulia.
