May 4
Douglas Elliman Real Estate brought Sophie Ravet on board as a new agent. “I’m delighted to join Douglas Elliman, which boasts one of the biggest networks of information via its international alliance with Knight Frank,” Ravet said in a statement. “The company’s global presence and extensive reach will be a valuable resource to my clients. I’m looking forward to growing my business and working with downtown’s luxury developments as I move forward in my career.”

Todd Costigan joined Down Payment Resource as vice president of customer relations; Costigan will manage accounts for the company’s real estate customers. “I’m pleased to add Todd to our growing team. His deep experience in real estate technology and understanding of MLSs will serve our customers well,” said Rob Chrane, CEO of Down Payment Resource, in a statement.
SRS Real Estate Partners announced that Molly Bayer joined the company as an associate in the Denver office. She will focus on tenant and landlord representation. “Molly is a bright new addition to our team in Denver,” said Tony Pierangeli, senior vice president and market leader for the Denver office, in a statement. “Her personality and drive are a perfect match for SRS, and she will integrate very well into the team.”

IRent announced the appointment of Matt Martin-Vegue as co-founder and chief product officer. “I am excited to engage with this opportunity and to play a critical role in developing and growing a highly usable end-to-end product,” Martin-Vegue said in a statement. “I look forward to building upon iRent’s solid foundation, and to realize our shared vision of what the long-term rental market should look like.”

Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) appointed Ira Powell as its chief credit officer. Powell is coming to KBRA from Goldman Sachs, where he worked for almost 15 years as vice president and head of money market origination for the investment banking division. “KBRA is very pleased to welcome Ira aboard as he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and in-depth industry experience that will allow KBRA to further grow as a company,” said KBRA president and COO, Jim Nadler, in a statement.
Wayne Everett joined Pennrose Properties as director of asset management, which is a new position at Pennrose. “We are looking forward to the impact that Wayne will make in supporting our goals to increase the efficiency and maximize the value of the properties in our portfolio,” said Mark H. Dambly, president of Pennrose Properties, in a statement. “He will be a tremendous resource to the organization as we enhance the oversight of our properties and expand support for our development and management activities.”

Re/Max announced that the current executive vice president and chief legal officer, Geoff Lewis, will replace Vinnie Tracey as president. “Over the last 10 years, I’ve seen Re/Max and our industry deal with a great variety of issues and I’m ready for whatever the future holds,” said Lewis in a statement. “I thank Vinnie for his contributions and look forward to working with our great Re/Max Affiliates and headquarters staff.”
Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty named India Mitchell an international luxury homes specialist at its Dr. Phillips/Windermere marketing center. “India Mitchell will be working with local, national and international buyers of luxury residences and with developers and investors from around the world,” Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty, said in a statement.
