Real estate mobile marketing firm VoicePad has announced a new lead generation tool that will allow agents to automatically route incoming calls to team members.
With “TeamPhone,” which will be available later this month, teams are assigned a single phone number that connects to a VoicePad back-end system that allows team leaders to route incoming text or phone leads from specific listings or ZIP codes to agents on their team.
When consumers call a team’s TeamPhone phone number, they reach an automated answering service that prompts them to select which home they’re calling about using VoicePad’s multiple listing service-connected database, VoicePad’s marketing manager, Michele Rehm, told Inman.
Consumers can then choose to receive information from an agent by phone, text or mobile Web, Rehm said. They also have the option to listen to an automated voice description of the listing that VoicePad creates from MLS data, she said.
The agent set to receive leads on that listing, or from the ZIP code where the listing is located, then receives both an email and text message that prompts a follow-up with the consumer, Rehm said.
TeamPhone also allows agents to set up a phone directory for consumers to reach specific agents on the team, and includes a branded payment calculator, voice mail and fax delivery.
VoicePad launched mobile Internet data exchange websites for agents in 2011 that included the Louisville, Kentucky-based firm’s “CurbCall” technology that allows consumers to access property information in audio format in English and Spanish.
IDX-connected websites allow consumers to search the pool of listings brokers make available to each other in individual markets through the data-sharing agreements known as IDX.
Other firms also offer similar phone-based lead-routing technology to real estate agents.
SendHub, a member of the 2014 class of the National Association of Realtors’ tech accelerator REach, offers a similar product, including lead-routing and voice-mail transcription. It was also a runner-up in Realogy’s second annual “FWD” innovation summit startup competition.
BetterVoice is another player in the space.
