Homes.com promotes new head of industry development from within

Real estate search portal Homes.com has promoted Andy Woolley to vice president of industry development, responsible for developing MLS, broker, franchise and other industry partnerships.

As vice president overseeing sales and customer service, Woolley helped Homes.com — the fourth most visited real estate search portal, behind Zillow, Trulia and realtor.com — launch Homes Connect, an integrated marketing platform for real estate agents, brokers and MLS partners.

“Homes.com is committed to providing consumers with the best possible search experience by offering the most accurate and timely data available, combined with being a ‘friend to the industry’ by positioning the listing agent as a critical part of the consumer inquiry,” said Dave Mele, president of Homes.com, in a statement. “Andy brings a wealth of experience to a critical area of our business as we focus on strengthening and expanding our partnerships throughout the country to help agents, brokers and MLSs grow their businesses.”

Woolley’s role in the real estate industry dates back to 1996, when he became the first employee at IRIS, developer of the Lightning software brand later acquired by Homeseekers Inc. Woolley held sales and management roles at Homeseekers until 2003, when he joined eNeighborhoods as director of marketing. ENeighborhoods was acquired by Homes.com parent company Dominion Enterprises in 2007.
