They’re the men and women behind today’s rock-star Realtors. With names like “Ferry,” these real estate gurus promise to transform average performers into top-producing superstars for a price that ranges from a few hundred dollars to thousands a month.
Find out why 9 out of 10 respondents to a recent Inman survey said their business climbed by 10 percent or more the first year they worked with a coach when Inman Publisher Brad Inman goes head to head with Mike Ferry, the dean of real estate coaches, and his son, Tom Ferry, during Real Estate Connect New York City 2015, Jan. 27-30, at the Marriott Marquis.
“Elvis had Dr. Tom Parker, and the Beatles had Brian Epstein. Both were mentors and motivators whose disciplined vision turned raw talent into rock ‘n’ roll gold,” said Inman. “In the past four decades, Mike and Tom Ferry and their teams of real estate coaches have mentored tens of thousands of Realtors. At Connect New York City, we’ll explore why agents hire coaches in the first place, how to select a coach and what is the return on investment for those who hire them.”
Mike Ferry is founder and chief executive officer of The Mike Ferry Organization, which had 2013 revenues of $28 million, up from $22 million in 2009, according to The Wall Street Journal. A successful agent and national training director early in his career, Ferry is among the most popular speakers and trainers on the nationwide seminar and coaching circuit. “Real estate agents, mortgage professionals’ title representatives, and business executives alike have increased their production and profit because of the real estate selling skills and mindset they have learned through Mike Ferry,” his biography states.
Tom Ferry, founder of Your Coach, has trained more than 260,000 salespeople, and his YouTube training channel has garnered more than 1 million views. According to his biography: “While many of Tom’s clients earn more than $1 million per year in sales income … scores of real estate professionals point to Tom Ferry as the mastermind behind their achieving new levels of productivity, whether on the six- or seven-figure range.”
