Texas-based Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty has acquired an 84-agent Austin brokerage, Amelia Bullock Realtors, and is merging it with a company it bought in 2012 to create a single, 246-agent brokerage with offices in Austin and San Antonio.
Founded in 1972, family-owned Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty purchased Capital City Sotheby’s International Realty in 2012. With the acquisition of Amelia Bullock Realtors, the company will have eight offices: four in Austin and four in San Antonio.
Real Trends ranked Amelia Bullock Realtors as the fifth-largest firm in Austin by 2013 sales volume ($382 million). Together, the combined companies racked up 1,000 transactions valued at $600 million in the past 12 months.
