Georgia Multiple Listing Service is partnering with CRS Data to provide public tax record information from all 159 Georgia counties to its 26,000 members.

CRS’ Real Estate Suite will allow Georgia MLS members to evaluate tax assessor information including sales and mortgage data, and foreclosure activity, and to use the platform’s comparable sales analysis feature.

Integration of Georgia MLS’ 56,000 active and 1 million off-market listings into the Real Estate Suite will allow cross referencing of public record data with MLS data to provide current snapshot views of real estate activity within a defined area.

“As Georgia MLS continues to expand our marketplace, we have to provide similar levels of products and services to current and prospective members,” said Richard Boone, chief executive officer of Georgia MLS, in a statement. “Increasing our public record offerings to include the entire state of Georgia gives our members the ability to provide additional services to their clients, all while achieving our growth objectives.”

A subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors, Realtors Property Resource offers multiple listing services access to property tax records in exchange for off-market listings data including recently sold listings. NAR has spent $85 million on RPR since 2009 and expects to boost spending on the project to $22 million a year during the next three years.

RealtyTrac recently entered the tax, deed and mortgage data licensing business, where it competes with CoreLogic and Black Knight Financial Services, after CoreLogic agreed to license data to RealtyTrac to resolve concerns antitrust regulators had expressed about CoreLogic’s $661 million acquisition of DataQuick.
