Former executives of Realty World Northern California Inc. have purchased the family-owned company and will continue to provide services to a franchise network of more than 900 agents in California and Northern Nevada.
Tracy, California-based Realty World Northern California has been franchising the Realty World brand in Northern California and Northern Nevada since 1982. Last year, brokerages affiliated with the brand in those territories handled 5,600 transactions valued at $2 billion, the company said.
Former executives of the company formed a San Francisco-based startup, Nexthome Inc., and Realty World Northern California is “the first of several acquisitions scheduled this year,” said CEO James Dwiggins in a statement.
Nexthome said it has named real estate speaker, trainer and industry executive Imran Poladi to serve as vice president.
