Website provider WebsiteBox has released a new application that allows agents to track the activity of their website visitors with the aim of facilitating interactions between agents and potential clients.

WebsiteBox, which launched in January, sells its mobile-optimized websites for a one-time charge of $99 and offers add-ons for $99 each, such as a blog app, a Craigslist ad-building app, email marketing, extra websites and more. The startup’s new “Lead Capture” app works on WebsiteBox websites and has the same price as the other add-ons: a one-time fee of $99.

The app allows agents to force their website visitors to register to conduct a search and allows those visitors to log in with social media profiles, which agents can then monitor.

Using the app, agents can see data about website visitors’ activity on the site, including the price range, types of homes, and neighborhoods they’ve searched. Agents can set up email alerts to alert users of new listings that match their search criteria and communicate with clients or visitors about specific homes they’ve looked at on the site. Registered visitors can also save and leave notes on properties, further encouraging collaboration between potential clients and agents.

The app automatically integrates generated leads with WebsiteBox’s customer relationship management system.

In July, Toronto-based WebsiteBox signed a non-exclusive data access agreement with the Canadian Real Estate Association that made the startup’s IDX websites available to the association’s 106,000 Realtors and grew the company’s coverage to 262 MLSs and associations in the U.S. and Canada.
