Trulia has launched a “find an agent” directory it says will help consumers glean insight about agents including previous home sales, active listings and recommendations from past clients.
The “find an agent” directory also encourages agents to demonstrate their expertise online, by helping buyers and sellers find advice they’ve provided to Trulia users.
Agents can improve their ranking and visibility in the directory by responding quickly to leads, selling more homes and securing more listings.
Trulia says more than half of buyers and sellers searching the site aren’t currently working with an agent but are actively trying to find one.
The new agent directory “offers people a simple way to research and contact an agent that meets their individual needs, while also providing a powerful way for agents to connect with prospects and grow their businesses,” Trulia CEO Pete Flint said in a statement.
