Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC wants to see what filmmakers from around the world have to say, through a short film, about what they consider the value of a home to be for a competition running through July 15.
The grand prize winner of the contest, hosted via the company MOFILM, which facilitates work between filmmakers and brands, will receive $8,000, two VIP tickets and two round-trip airline tickets to the Chicago-based Lollapalooza music festival Aug. 2-4.
Ten finalists will also be selected, whose films may air on Coldwell Banker’s “On Location” YouTube channel and who will receive cash prizes. The second-place winner will receive $4,000, with $2,000 to third place, $1,000 for fourth and fifth place, and $500 each for sixth through 10th place.
Filmmakers can apply to MOFILM for grants to cover production costs of the entry.
Coldwell Banker recently signed a master franchise agreement to enter its 51st country, Switzerland.
“International growth is one of our key initiatives, and entering into this agreement is a positive step in the brand’s expansion in Central Europe,” said Budge Huskey, president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, in a statement about the Switzerland expansion.
