Walk Score has revamped its neighborhood page layout in an effort to paint richer portraits of communities. The new version offers more photos and integrates the website’s walkability, transportation and choice metrics.
In addition, it provides real estate professionals with an opportunity to showcase their neighborhood expertise by becoming “neighborhood guides.”
The previous version of the page offered a small amount of space to a “neighborhood expert.” But the new page features two “neighborhood guides” and gives them more prominence on the page.
The two users who contribute the highest-rated photos and neighborhood reviews earn spots as neighborhood guides, said Matt Lerner, chief technology officer of Walk Score.
