Agents spend a lot of times in their cars. On the way to show houses, meet clients, prepare for open houses or see new homes on the market, there’s a lot they could get done if they didn’t need to pay attention to driving. How amazing would that be?

Halstead Property, a brokerage with 26 offices and 1,000 agents in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, has a fleet of small helicopters that it uses to provide aerial photographs of some of its listed properties. Multi-propeller remote-controlled flying devices, equipped to take video and photos, will only become more popular in real estate, some experts say.
