With sales executives working out of 52 locations in Connecticut and Rhode Island, the firm ranked as the 26th-largest brokerage in the U.S. with $2.46 billion in sales in 2011, according to the most recent rankings from Real Trends.

Adams has been an active participant on industry boards and groups, including Realty Alliance, Vision and Prudential Real Estate Apex.

She currently serves on the board of directors for the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service Inc. (CTMLS).

Prudential Connecticut Realty is one of nine Prudential-affiliated brokerages owned by HomeServices of America that’s expected to rebrand as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, when HomeServices rolls out its new franchise brand this year.

HomeServices got into the franchising business in October, acquiring a majority interest in the Prudential Real Estate and Real Living brands from Brookfield Asset Management.

HomeServices and Brookfield have formed a joint venture, HSF Affiliates LLC, to operate the Real Living and Prudential Real Estate affiliate networks, along with the new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand.
