A Denver-area Realtor group is joining forces with a real estate startup to offer its members a free Web-based marketing service.
The South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA) has signed an exclusive agreement to launch the service with BreakthroughBroker.com, a free online resource center where real estate professionals can create customized marketing materials, learn from industry leaders through interviews and news, and collaborate through blog posts and local events.
SMDRA’s more than 2,800 members will have access to localized, quarterly marketing materials, such as brochures and newsletters, and to content designed to help members interact with new and prospective clients, according to an announcement.
"We see this alliance as an opportunity to add an exciting service to our members without adding any expense," said Jo Pellegrino-Ellis, the trade group’s chairman of the board, in a statement. "To us, that makes good business sense."
BreakthroughBroker.com was founded last year by two Colorado real estate pros, Nathan Froelich and Eric Sachs, and officially launched in February.
"Today’s consumers want information about the housing market that they can understand and use," Froelich, the startup’s CEO, said in a statement. "Our goal is to provide technology that helps the Realtors of the SMDRA organization create and share that information easily."
BreakthroughBroker.com’s business model is based on an affiliate program in which the site partners with companies that market real estate-related products or services, such as movers.
BreakthroughBroker.com participated in "Start-Up Alley" at Real Estate Connect San Francisco in August. A new crop of companies will be featured at
